exported the Royal Mile formula form one capital city to another.
Beauchamp-Place.com
was launched in December 2007. Beauchamp Place is one one London's
most prestigeous streets and is the place where "royalty and
the rich go to patronise the famous" Shops include: Caroline
Charles and Bruce Oldfield, McKenna & Co. Hamilton & Inches
and Princess Diana's favourite restaurant San Lorenzo.

ABOUT EDINBURGH-ROYALMILE.COM
Edinburgh-royalmile.com is the result of over three years work design
and research by Chameleon Design. The site is continually evolving,
growing and being updated.
It was launched on 1st of October 2005 and has so far attracted
a lot of interest in terms of 'hits' (over 100,000 to date) and
has received a lot of positive feedback from visitors and
participating businesses (120+).

This site has been archived by The National
Library of Scotland as part of their National Heritage.
VIRTUAL OLD AND NEW TOWN EXPANSION
Chameleon Design have designed and launched a similar website for
The George Street Association.

(launched 1st December 2006.)
The website covers all businesses on and around the George Street
area Including; Charlotte and St Andrew Squares and Charlotte, Castle,
Frederick, Hanover, St. David and St. Andrew Street.
This means that a significant part of both Edinburgh's
Old and New Towns have now been mapped with a growing number of
direct links to all participating business' websites.

which links to the George Street and Royal Mile Sites, allowing
vistors to click there way between the sites and explore and shop
in a large part of Edinburgh's Old and New Town's.
All individual sites expand on the next and help to support each
other through marketing and internet search engines, bringing increased

For future websites Chameleon Design have secured domain names for
Edinburgh-Oldtown.com, Edinburgh-Newtown.com
and Festival-Photography.com

We have launched an On-line Shop offering merchandise related to
Edinburgh and the Royal Mile where we shall be offering items such
as Postcards, Paintings, Prints, Maps, Heraldic Banners, Books,
CD's, DVDs videos etc...
We intend to work with local businesses to promote
their merchandise Orders are taken directly from Edinburgh-Royalmile.com
on a 20% commission basis.
There is a secure shopping cart in place which allows items to be
ordered with credit/debit cards, pay pal or direct cash. It also
allows participating Businesses to pay for their links or invoice.

as visitors to this site. It makes sense that anything which can
