The Netherbow Port
incorporated into the sign for the theatre venue.

The Netherbow Port
Demolished in 1764

The Netherbow is so called because of it's location near The Old Netherbow Port.

It belongs to the Church of Scotland and houses a small theatre, art gallery, the storytelling centre and courtyard restaurant.

The building is currently under re-construction, by Malcolm Fraser Achitects and a new tower has been built to house the original port bell dating from 1621 and a carving from the Netherbow Port.

During the festival this is a popular theatre venue.
