CRANSTON HOUSE

This building once housed The Canongate Christian Institute (1828-1930), an organisation which ran a mission for the benefit of locals, holding services and gospel meetings throughout the week.

It was refurbished in 1990, becoming The Edinburgh School of English, which teaches English as a second language.
