GULLAN'S CLOSE

This close has also been known as Cant's Close, Haliburton's Close, and Gullon's Close.

The current name dates from 1763, when a stabler called James Gullan had premises here.

Gullan's Close Leads to Boyd's Entry half way down St. Mary's Street and continues on to Holyrood Road
